We loved the beautiful woodwork and fireplace. The kitchen and dining room are beautifully done as were the gorgeous bathrooms with marble finishes, soaking tubs, custom tiled showers with great attention to every detail. The furnishings were very tasteful, both antique and new. All in all, a very relaxing getaway with plenty of room for a large family/ gathering in comfortable setting.
We went to the open house they had after they first remodeled it. Pictures don't do it justice!! They somehow kept the original/historical value but updated everything! The kitchen is BEAUTIFUL and the bedrooms are huge! I love all the details they thought of; the work space, the outdoor kitchen, and the attic space-it looks perfect for kids. Looking forward to getting a group together to stay there!
The historic charm and warmth of this home is beautiful and welcoming. The attention to detail for our comfort enhanced the relaxing experience. Large rooms and luxurious baths made for a wonderful stay. I will definitely be returning with family and friends.
Amazing breakfast for my time in West Virginia! The bed was AWESOME!
