The Cupcakery

Lovely patio seating and several tabletops inside. The menu of fresh cupcakes appears to change daily and seasonally. Locally owned and operated, small-family business. The cupcakes were nicely decorated, tasted divine, and reasonably priced. The Chocolate and Salted Carmel frosting was supreme; the cupcakes were devoured. Chocolate cupcakes are one of the most finicky, as they can easily bake dry; but a good frosting will compensate. These were excellent on frosting and just slightly on the dry for the cupcake. The Cupcakery is a great place to find a special dessert, in DeWitt Iowa.

Friendly little shop! I stopped in today and purchased a strawberry cupcake. The flavor was over the top! Sadly it was dry. I also purchased the Humming bird. It was over the top amazing!!! Great flavor throughout. Very moist and delicious! I would definitely give that one a 10!

The gluten free chocolate cupcakes with strawberry frosting are AMAZING! Kaitlyn is so kind! The store and decor is adorable and very welcoming! A must stop if you're in the area for sure!!

Omg this place is so cute!! The owner personally served me with unique flavors. They are open limited hours on Friday and Saturday during the coronavirus era. My daughter and I went driving from the Quad Cities just to get out of the house and we came upon this place; it was our only stop. We took four cupcakes home and learned a bit about how to store them safely. I would highly recommend supporting local business and also driving 20 min to DeWitt to see what is new up there— and to stop in The Cupcakery.
