This is everything you want from a proper English pub. Warm, welcoming, and full of character, it strikes the perfect balance between old-world charm and genuine comfort. The atmosphere is cosy without feeling cramped, and the friendly staff make you feel like a regular even on your first visit. The drinks selection is excellent, with well-kept ales, solid lagers, and a thoughtfully chosen wine list. The food is classic pub fare done right. The fish & chips are a standout—crispy, golden batter, flaky fish, and proper chunky chips—while the soft pretzels (giant) make the perfect snack alongside a pint. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink, a relaxed meal, or a long catch-up with friends, this pub delivers every time. A true local gem and exactly what an English pub should be.
Darts- Darts Darts- you gotta join the league!!! Ask Logan!!! Great Bar keep!!!! Enjoy the photos!!
This pub is lovely inside and has a very nice covered deck, which would be great in the spring and fall. The waitress and the chef were both very attentive. However, we were 3 English girls looking for some food to remind us of home. The Shepherd's Pie (which 2 of us had) did have some flavour but was not remotely a British Shepherd's pie. The mashed potato on top is supposed to be stiff and broiled with a crispy top, plus there were no peas (even as a side) which are normally included in a Shepherd's Pie, along with the carrots. I had the Bangers, which were okay, but not as flavourful as normal British bangers. There are a couple of British/Irish beers, but not more than 3. The wine was good and a good value. The french fries (aka "chips") that I ordered with my bangers instead o
A great new place and the staff were attentive and fun! Good selection of beers (we tried a few and all were great!) Shared a few apps that were delicious and a good size (Reuben egg rolls were my favorite) and the potato nachos were really good as well. The burger and the fish and chips were awesome….will definitely be going back! Love the vibe inside and definitely looking forward to sitting out on the front porch when the weather is warmer.
Such a quaint place! Lots of TV’s and fun faire to eat! Had a taste of three appetizers shared among friends. Great comfort food! Staff were really friendly and they have a big variety of beers! Can’t wait for the weather to get warmer to sit in the cozy outside area!
