The Corner

I loved this place. Personally, I think this is much better than the Apple Walnut Cafe. My only nitpick is that it was a bit cramped, although this is more of a personal preference. The huevos rancheros with the coffee soaked meat was fantastic! My kids stuck with pancakes and French toast. I was a big fan of the brioche French toast with apples. They weren't dominating as most corporate places tend to be. The apple complemented rather than took over the dish. I made it a point to try new places this year, and this was the perfect start.

Service was good. Food was fast. However the eggs came out pre chewed, bacon was murdered under a press and the toast was over done and hard. When asked about the food, I simple said the food was OK but I wasn't happy with the eggs. Server offered to remake which i declined. She insisted so I said sure. At that point a lady came out to ask what was wrong. I explained that the eggs where so broken apart that I cant even get a fork into or under them. Basically needed a spoon. She got rude and said thats how she makes them. I said it's not how they a traditional served. At that point she said I can come back to the kitchen and tell them how to cook. Really!? Great little restaurant. My son found this place on Google. Great prices food and service. Only draw back was that we sat close to the door. Won't do that again. We will be back for better seats

I had the French toast with bacon, my gf had the 7 sister’s omelette. It was amazing! Service was great! Will for sure be back soon! ☺️

I got a scrapple, egg and cheese sandwich. I went to the corner because I saw they serve their breakfast sandwiches on Brioche rolls. I was surprised to learn that I don’t like brioche rolls as much as I thought I did. Good sandwich. Nice young woman waited on me. Sunday morning most places open at 8 am. 8:05 am, empty. 8:15 am, three quarters full.
