The Coal House Lodge

What an absolutely delightful stay at the Coal House Lodge! Perfectly placed adjacent to downtown. We stayed at the upstairs room and were so darn cozy. The breakfast was AMAZING and served right to our door ❤️ Tracy & Jeff are so accommodating and sweet and offered to help us multiple times with our one year olds and our baggage. Comfortable beds, warm baths, and the night fireplace light made for a lovely stay. We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay here. The nook room was very quaint and cozy. The owners thought out everything well. Check in was early compared to a lot of rentals, which allowed us to enjoy the town a lot more. The breakfast was fantastic and a great start to the day.

We loved the place, its a wacky collection of buildings and stuff from the past I has quirky outdoor bar, small and cozy cabin architecture, vintage books, repurposed furnishings, fabulous breakfast to order served on china with antique glasses and silver. We had the breakfast burrito and beautiful ham, mushrooms spinich onion and cheese omelet. Our hosts Tracy and Jeff were extremely accommodating with our last minute plans for a Christmas Eve stay with our Shi-tzu dog, bringing us wine glasses to our room with a bucket of ice and whatever we needed. As we walked around the grounds we saw many species of birds: yellow romped warblers, white throated sparrows, cardinals, waxwings, Canadian geese, tit mouse, black capped chickadees, and pileated woodpeckers. I absolutely LOVED my stay here. I was traveling through from Washington State to Tennessee. Every hotel was booked full. I was able to reach Tracy at the Coal House. She was so gracious. I was absolutely exhausted and overwhelmed from packing my house and driving for days. I felt so taken care of at The Coal House! The bed was lovely and so comfortable. There was a nice jetted tub in the room and the room was adorable. The next morning Trace and her husband delivered a homemade breakfast to my room. I felt like a princess. Lovely people, beautiful and interesting property! I’ll definitely be back!!

This place is such a hidden gem right in town in Weston. The owners Jeff and Tracy are absolutely exceptional hosts and such kind, caring, sweet people. The property is so fun as well, And the room we stayed in “the nook” was so cozy and clean and fun. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun getaway from the hustle and bustle!!!
