The Chop House

Stopped by Chop House and overall had a great experience. The sweet tea was good and refreshing (7.8/10). The loaded potato soup was absolutely on point — rich, flavorful, and comforting (9/10). My filet was cooked beautifully, but it was just a little light on seasoning for my taste (8/10). The mac and cheese had great flavor, but after about two bites it became a bit too rich and heavy (5/10). Dessert was a highlight — their homemade strawberry cheesecake ice cream tasted very fresh and light, a perfect way to finish the meal (9/10). Would definitely come back and try a few more items.

We celebrated my Mom's 80th Birthday at the Chop House in Kodak, TN. The food was so delicious, and the staff attended to our every need with grace and hospitality. Our head server, Abbie, went above and beyond to make sure my Mom's special day was enjoyable and memorable. We highly recommend this location, and we will definitely return for future family celebrations and meals. Thank you staff and management for a truly awesome experience!

We had traveled to Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg for vacation and my stepmom was with us and she has a sister that lives in a very small town about 40 minutes away from Sevierville. She made reservations at the chop House for us to meet up and have a nice dinner with them before we left to come back to. We got to sit right by the fireplace which was a nice ambiance because it is almost Christmas and they had it decorated perfectly. The food was excellent. The only complaint that we had was that the onion rings were very very big which was okay except for the fact that it made the breading on them somewhat mushy and very wet. We had wonderful food, and an incredibly nice server. We ate around 4:30 pm right before it got busy. There was no waiting. By the time we were leaving around 5:45 pm people were lined up and it got packed! So if you eat here, the best time is around lunch. We ordered the teriyaki chicken, fried Chicken and french fries, plus spinach dip for the appetizer. It was all amazing.

The Chop House is very warm and inviting. There was a fireplace and gas lit lamps on the wall. The menu was packed with delicious-sounding dishes and mouth-watering sides. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. The waitress refilled our drinks without having to be asked. She also checked in with us a number of times. The complimentary bread and butter board was awesome. The bread was warm and fresh out of the oven. The butter was a nice whipped consistency and easy to spread. I ordered the Aged NY Strip with Loaded Baked Potato and Caesar Salad. The steak was probably the best steak I have ever had.
