My wife and I had a wonderful experience at The Charles Restaurant in La Plata, Maryland. The food was incredibly flavorful, and the presentation was phenomenal every dish looked just as amazing as it tasted. The lamb chops and the braised short ribs were absolutely chef’s kiss. Our waiter, Rashell, was attentive and professional, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. The service really elevated the entire experience. My wife highly recommends the Coyote Ugly drink she said the taste was amazing and it was one of the highlights of the night. The ambiance is beautiful, making it a perfect place for a date night or special occasion. We will definitely be back.

This place is a hidden gem; I arguably want to keep its secret. The food; atmosphere as well as service was exceptional. I do not even know how many times I passed this place; but decided to take my mother and there for lunch. From the moment I walked in I was thinking wow I have been missing out. The decor and servers were phenomenal. The menu had a lot of delicious options for reasonable prices. We opt for cream of crab soup, crab dip, crab cake sandwich, tomato basil soup and kale salad. It was so good we had to get the desert ; apple crumble. This was some the best food we have had in our area in a long time. We will be back and I cannot believe it took me so long to check them out.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this restaurant! We recently hosted a 40th birthday celebration here, and they helped make the night absolutely perfect. The staff was beyond amazing — attentive, warm, and so easy to work with from start to finish. A special shoutout to the owner, Millian, who was truly awesome. He went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of and made the entire experience stress-free and memorable. You can really feel the pride and care he puts into his business. I would hands down recommend this place over and over again to all of my clients, friends, and family. If you’re looking for exceptional food, incredible service, and a team that genuinely cares, this is the spot. We’ll definitely be back! 💛🍽️✨

My wife and I went here for the first time today for brunch. We have lived in the area for 2 years and have never heard of this place before. After our experience today, we definitely wish we would have heard about this place sooner. The restaurant is definitely bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. The ambiance and atmosphere is really nice on the inside. Our waiter was excellent! She was very friendly, attentive, patient, and constantly made sure we had everything we needed. My wife and I both had a Peach Bellini which was really good and was only $7 each. I had the Cream of Crab Soup and it was delicious! For entrees, both my wife and I had the Hanger Steak & Eggs. We both had a medium cooked steak and our eggs were scrambled with cheese. This entree also came with breakf

Don't judge a restaurant by the outside.....sometimes!! This place surprised me! Nothing inviting on the outside, but atmosphere changes upon entrance! Nice decor, attentive hostess, and MOST IMPORTANT.....The Food Was Good!!!! We were still celebrating from my cousin's baby shower the previous day and went to Brunch at The Charles! We had shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, potatoes, turkey sausage, omelets. It was ALL GOOD!! Especially the morning potatoes!!! Delicious! The shrimp were jumbo sized and it was all plated nicely. Even the owner stopped by and asked how everything was and if we needed anything. I would recommend and definitely go back again! Must Try!!!
