Benny’s sub shop

I stumbled across Benny’s by way of good reviews while looking for a place to get good Chinese food. I’ve had food from other Chinese places in the area and was completely disappointed. Upon placing my order over the phone at Benny’s, Sammie was very nice and pleasant. Here I am leaving a post based on my experience. I would say that the food was great in which my family enjoyed and the staff is very nice and friendly.

In my opinion, my customer service encounter at Benny’s of La Plata was one of the most unprofessional, frustrating and absolutely bottom feeder level poor customer service experiences I have had in a long time. I would need to go all the way back to my days of interacting with Tune Warner Cable to find a comparable experience in terms of horrible customer service. The woman at the register came off very angry for some reason and was argumentative beyond belief in my view, to the point where I contacted the third party order service and cancelled my order since Benny’s hadn’t even put my order into the system, let alone started making my order even though I arrived right at the 6pm scheduled pick up time. 100% fail on all counts and I will be sure to let everyone know about the argument

Benny’s Sub Shop in La Plata is legit. The fried rice is great and way better than you’d expect from a sub shop. On top of that, the customer service is super friendly and laid-back, which makes the whole experience even better. Solid local spot for sure.

Great customer service! Great food that’s flavorful & most of all the establishment is very clean & welcoming! I’m more than sure they see me way too often. We love everything but our favorite is Singapore noodles w/ shrimp & extra veggies extra spicy. Also love the beautiful plants in the waiting/seating area.

Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve had a lot of Chinese food. Disgusting ,baby food! Food was inedible ! Drove an hour and a half spent $50 and we couldn’t even take 2 bites. Terrible ! Extremely disappointed.
