Absolutely disgusting!! The flounder is extremely thin cut and so over cooked to where it's just breading with almost no meat at all. The little bit of taste u get from the fries is sadly just freezer burn with hints of pepper. The steak like everything else is over cooked and bland.. ordered a medium rare and got a very well done that was cooked on something that I assume wasn't properly cleaned due to the fish taste. Even the ranch they serve for an extra fee is store brand bottle ranch as well as there horrific attempt at tarter sauce. Also got a spaghetti plate for my son and we opened up a can of Great Value macaroni and beef and split it instead of $67 dollar worth pure BS we received from here!! I should have known better than to continue ordering when the woman taking phone orders

Good food. Very disappointed in the amount of shrimp I got. Until they decide to give bigger portions for the price, I will not be back. This was the second time I received a small portion of shrimp. I guess I’ll keep going to Hickory and get more seafood at a cheaper price. It was good, just disappointed in the amount. The salt and pepper flounder was delicious.

We love Captain's Cap and the fact that the Salad Bar is now open is the icing on the cake! The staff is super friendly and always makes you feel like family. The food is amazing and always fresh. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Had the everyday special..glad to see a little salad bar again.Not much but just enough to make a tasty salad! Had the everyday special and it was ok.Shrimp was good and deviled crab was ok..the flounder had an off taste for some reason that couldn't even be covered up with tartar sauce and I couldn't finish it...but over all a decent meal.. Our server was fantastic! Very friendly and helpful..will come back sometime.

The filet of flounder is fantastic. My husband order the flounder senior plate and I ordered the spaghetti plate. We both have food left over for lunch tomorrow. The servers are very friendly and they make sure you have anything you need. Prices are good, plus you get the salad bar for free with any meal. What other seafood restaurants can you go to to get fish or pasta plates.
