The Cafè at The Northampton Hotel

Fabulous view, pleasant service, and surprisingly delicious food. We got the apple fritters, breakfast croissant, and the Wren, plus a latte and coffee. HIGHLY recommend!

Decided to check out this place on our last day here in Cape Charles. Location is great especially if you are sitting outside. Water views and it is close to the beach. Service was good but unfortunately we waited over 45 minutes to get our food. There were 2 other tables that sat down after us and got their food much quicker. Food was great. Tried their croissant egg sandwich, breakfast bowl, and crepes. Very tasty. I had to knock down a star because of the wait time and other tables getting their food faster than us.

This place is amazing! The best Apple Fritters I’ve ever had coupled with a delicious breakfast croissant with a thick slice of ham. The restaurant is quaint, cozy, and a very friendly staff that went out of their way to make certain every need was met. Highly recommended and look forward to returning.

We ate outside on a beautiful Sunday morning. I had Huevos Rancheros, an iced coffee, and truffle fries, all of which were delicious! Service was great. View was nice. It was very sunny, so some customers chose to roll down the shades, which I thought was a nice touch to have available.

Cute cafe with very good breakfast/brunch. The best Huevos rancheros! The salmon crepes are not pictured but they were good as well.
