The Baywood Bed and Breakfast

All I can say is Wow! We visited the Baywood with both my husband’s mom and my mom and our adult kids and couldn’t have anticipated the tremendous hospitality from the moment we walked through the door. Mike is the most amazing host and his breakfasts were to die for. I have a gluten allergy and he tweaked his delicious breakfast casseroles to accommodate. Truly our favorite B and B experience ever. Can’t wait to go visit the Baywood again!

The Baywood surpassed anything I could imagine for a Bed and Breakfast. It was my first time staying in a B&B, I had no clue what to expect. I truly felt like I was visiting a family member. I enjoyed relaxing in the back yard with views of the Chesapeake Bay. We ventured into Cape Charles, which literallly looks like a Hallmark movie town. The following morning we had hot coffee right outside our door at 6:30am which we enjoyed on the balcony. Breakfast was served at 8:30am and boyyy can Mike cook! I look forward to returning.

Wonderful host - so helpful. Comfy bed and a fantastic breakfast! The back yard was a restful retreat with the sound of gentle lapping waves. We strolled around Cape Charles, full of cute shops and restaurants.||It was a stopping point on a longer trip, but we would love to come back as a destination.

Great location. Nice accommodations. Friendly and delightful host. Stayed thee times... never had a problem. Great freshly cooked breakfast in the morning. Thank you Mike.

We will never stay anywhere else when in the Cape Charles again. We stayed 3 nights in the Lighthouse Room and were very happy. Mike and Sharon are really friendly people and, oh, the breakfasts that were served you won't get anywhere else. Coffee right outside your door, fresh brewed. Private beach and the best sunsets. We will be back soon when the weather cools off. Thanks Mike.
