Bay Haven Inn of Cape Charles

My wife and I were there to celebrate our birthdays. The breakfast was amazing. The house was very warm and inviting. The town is beautiful. The sunsets are one of a kind. Tammy and Jim are wonderful hosts: they gave us many excellent suggestions to have a great time. We will be returning, see you there!

Our stay at the Bay Haven Inn of Cape Charles over the long weekend of December 4th through 7th was as incredible as the other 15 plus times we have enjoyed during our Girls Weekend times together in Cape Charles over the last several years! Jim & Tammy Holloway are such a warm and inviting couple who make you feel right at home from the moment you walk into the Inn. The rich history of the Inn is magical, and they have every detail nailed to a tee. I have always, and will continue, to highly recommend the Bay Haven Inn of Cape Charles to friends and family for a wonderful getaway experience!!

We had the opportunity to spend some time in Cape Charles, VA last month and stay at the Bay Haven Bed and Breakfast. Both Cape Charles and Bay Haven were excellent choices. Cape Charles is a lovely small town on the Chesapeake Bay, essentially the southern tip of the DelMarVa peninsula. Great little town, nice shops wonderful restaurants. The Bay Haven Inn is exceptional. Two blocks off the water and the Main Street, absolutely walkable. The Inn is a beautiful old home that has been restored and expanded…perfect for a bed and breakfast. Tammy and Jim presented spectacular breakfasts, soufflés, frittatas and stuffed French toast, along with fresh fruit, juice coffee and baked goods ( Tammy is the chef and Jim is the baker). Spent an evening in the off-season at the Bay Haven Inn. It was our first time visiting and we will definitely be back! The rooms were lovely and the hosts were delightful. The location was also perfectly close to downtown.

Tammy and Jim are absolutely wonderful hoteliers. The stay was exactly what my wife and I needed to escape our professional stresses. The room was better than expected and very clean. Tammy made wonderful breakfasts a was kind enough to sit and talk with us. She had the perfect personality and experiences to fit in with a myriad of personalities, very fun to be with. The town is very fun to walk or drive around, and the town folk are very friendly. The beaches are clean and well maintained. The restaurants are all delicious. We look forward to staying with Tammy and Jim's again.
