Stopped in here on the way to Orlando and to say it was awesome is an understatement! Food was so fresh and prices were very reasonable for the quality AND quantity. The home fries were amazing and made scratch. I got the all you can eat fish fry and the fish and tartar sauce were so fresh and tasty. I almost couldn’t eat all of what they gave me. I substituted the onion straws as my side and it did NOT disappoint!!! My spouse got the bacon cheeseburger and it looked like the most picture perfect burger. I cannot say enough great things! What a nice local business and the staff was super nice and friendly. We will have to make this place a traditional stop.

The Butcher Block – Groveland, FL ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (For food and character… minus one star for structural integrity) We rolled into The Butcher Block around 11:00 a.m. on a Saturday, and immediately knew we were in the right place because the parking lot was packed with every brand of vehicle known to man — but mostly lifted 4x4 trucks. When the locals show up in force, it’s usually a good sign… and they weren’t wrong. The wait? A bit much. The two waitresses were absolutely overwhelmed, hustling like they were competing in a CrossFit event. Owners — if you’re reading this — a little extra help on busy mornings might save a few souls (and sanity). The restaurant itself is… let’s call it vintage. And by vintage, I mean it could use paint, maybe some remodeling, and possibly a structural engineer. T

Just had lunch and it was amazing. Terrific server made us feel welcome. We’re Houstonians and this little place is that quality of food. The fried green tomatoes appetizer was as good or better than Brennan’s (less the crab meat). We ordered shrimp po-boy and flounder sandwich. Both excellent but shrimp po-boy was winner out of the two. Delicious remoulade sauce. Onion rings crispy and delicious. Will definitely return!

Stopped first time 11/30 on our way from Tampa to Orlando We had the tumble weeds (onion straws) & split a steak & cheese sandwich. Tumble weeds were good…huge portion. Steak & cheese was very dry & not enough meat & cheese, just a lot of bun. Fair prices Very cute decor Employees ( & owner?) very pleasant & friendly I’d stop again but maybe try the breakfast instead

Simple breakfast diner. Service was great, food was typical diner style. Nothing fancy but got the job done. Bathrooms were clean. Would go back!
