The Bucking Lobster

We visited on a Tuesday in mid-June 2025 after our National Park Service Cruise on the Sea Princess. They are a food truck parked in the parking lot. There were people there when we arrived and people there when we were leaving as well. So they must get a pretty good stream of customers but it also helps that there aren't too many food options in the area. The staff were both super nice and answered all our questions. We ordered: - Lobster Banh Mi Roll (an unique twist on the lobster roll and it wasn't bad. Glad I tried it but I think I'd stick to a classic lobster roll and a classic banh mi.) - Tofu Banh Mi Roll (my wife picked this and she really liked it. Honestly I think it would've been so much better if the tofu was like deep fried to give it some texture. Cold tofu on a bun was ju

I love this place. This is my third stop here as I’ve been coming up to Maine often. Each year it gets better and better. This year there’s been some surprising changes to the menu which included a tofu ban mi as well as a lobster ban mi. I decided to give the tofu a try. It was quite delicious. Very satisfying Especially served with a delicious french fries which are perfectly fried and seasoned. I’ve definitely had the lobster rolls before which are fresh and delicious with the hot buttered roll being my favorite, but the tofu ban mi was a winner. As always the service was delightful and you can’t beat the beautiful surroundings to enjoy the fare.

Food truck. Had the Ban-Mi lobster roll. Wife had the lobster quesadilla. Both were fantastic. Great location with picnic tables in a little park near the marina. Public bathrooms close by.

Yum. Up there with the best lobster rolls in the area. Not too much mayo and the banh mi had a nice spice adding to but not overwhelming the lobster. Just yum. We had the classic, banh mi, and hot dogs for the kids. Great picnic tables nearby made for a super easy, pleasant lunch.

EXCELLENT bun. Better than any you'll get anywhere else. The bahn mi is a great take on the classic lobster roll!! Good, classic chowder. Very friendly service!
