Artie's Good Eats on Sea Street

Delicious sandwich with an abundance of fresh ingredients. I had the turkey sandwich with Havarti cheese on whole-grain bread with lettuce, tomato, and mayo and plenty of thick bacon. Definitely shareable. Half of the sandwich filled me up. Comes with chips. Jackie at the counter was fast and friendly. Prices are very reasonable, especially for this town. I’m going back this week for the Hearty Artie meatloaf sandwich! 😋 I had an iced cold brew coffee, and it was perfect and strong . This is takeaway only, no inside seating. Two blocks to the east and you have plenty of picnic benches or park benches at the marina, which is a peaceful place with beautiful views, weather permitting. My only suggestion would be two or three chairs inside for people waiting for their order.

My husband and I shared the turkey sandwich, which was huge. It came with cape cod chips and we ordered a delicious brownie for dessert. While there is no indoor seating, just a short walk to the harbor provided picnic tables and benches over looking the harbor.

The vegan options they have are very good and also not your standard boring options. They put time and effort into good quality food. The lemon blueberry cookie is excellent as well. You can get the Meadowbrook sandwich, which is excellent or if you just want the filling and to use your own crackers or something to eat it you can get the Herbed Chickpea Mash which is the main ingredient in the sandwich.

Artie’s was the perfect lunch stop while we were in Northeast Harbor. Their sandwiches and paninis were delicious and the blueberry lemonade was fantastic. It was so good that we went back later for a coffee stop. I will definitely be returning the next time I’m in the Northeast Harbor area.

Absolutely loved my visit to Artie’s! I had the Chicken Bacon Ranch panini and the Hearty Artie meatloaf sandwich—both were fantastic. They treated me like a VIP from the moment I walked in. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can tell they care about their food and their customers. If you’re anywhere near Northeast Harbor, make sure to stop in. Delicious food, and great people.
