The Breakfast Nook

I used to come here with my grandpa who retired from the Ocala sawmill in 1988. This place is frozen in time in all the best ways. They still serve an incredible massive breakfast platter as if every guest that drops in is a local lumberjack. No fuss. No fancy presentation. No trays for the bill. No lattes. No fancy tables or chairs. No avocado toast & vegan sausage. Just possibly the most hearty and satisfying breakfast you have had in a decade or two. Pancakes the way you remember them from the 90's when Cracker Barrel used to be a viable breakfast joint, a pile of hash browns that you could share with the whole family, and waitresses that make you feel like you came home and they were waiting. Absolutely my favorite place to get breakfast in town. All the mom and pop vibes, and I seriously don’t think there is anywhere else in town you can get as much food for the price. Super duper tasty, without fail every time. The service is great, food is delivered quickly and everyone is on top of things. Highly recommend stopping in!!! Not pictured are the eggs I demolished. 10/10

We have an absolutely wonderful breakfast experience here every time! Our server was amazing today 2/16 on President's Day. She was friendly, charming, and so kind. From the food to the service to the atmosphere 5 stars all around. ❤️

This is definitely one of the best breakfast joints in Cd'A. This is a busy place but the service is quick! Our server Tanner was extremely attentive, friendly, and service oriented. The food is crazy good! Good filling in the omelets, good portions, and very tasty. This is a big recommend if you want a great breakfast and want to leave full.
