We ate here prior to heading over to Broadway for a play and it was a great find. The food was good and the staff tag teamed our table so we didn’t have just one server. That was nice because we were able to get anyone to help us, but a little challenging to know who to ask for help. The seating and atmosphere was great. It was just loud enough for ambience, but still quiet enough to have a nice conversation with my friends.
Everything was Delicious. The Pear & Bleu cheese salad had me in a choke hold. The drinks were perfect and refreshing. I look forward to going back ASAP.
My visit to The Brazen Tavern was… lackluster. Liked the exterior and the interior (inside was redecorated while working to maintain a vintage vibe), but the experience was underwhelming. Sparse crowd, and the server told us when we came in that they were about to close (online said they were there 2 hours from closing). Last call was 40 minutes before the server’s closing time, and the server was definitely trying to get us out ASAP. The drinks were fine, but the overall experience felt lacking. Lots of other options in the area; maybe try somewhere else for a better experience.
I made reservations for the Brazen Tavern on a Monday at 3:00 PM—only to realize afterward that they *open* at 3:00 PM. No problem at all though, because Ryan welcomed us right on time and made us feel immediately at home. The space itself is an adorable, cozy pub—exactly the kind of place you want to relax in before the Times Square chaos. We went specifically for the 3–6 PM happy hour and tried the chicken dumplings, sliders, steak quesadillas, and a couple of cocktails. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The bathrooms were clean and fully stocked (always appreciated), and the service Ryan provided was truly exceptional—attentive, friendly, and never rushed. The only reason I didn’t give a full 5-star rating is because the prices felt a bit high for a “happy hour” men
A quaint spot my daughter and two grandchildren found after we visited the Madame Tussauds Museum. Atmosphere was great and service excellent. Considering we arrived when they first opened we were the only ones there, so service was attentive. Food was excellent!! I would have given 5 stars but for two adults and 2 children during Happy Hour our bill was $140 without tip and I thought that was a bit pricy for Happy Hour.
