The Borscht Bowl

Arrived after 1 pm and there was lots of room and choice of table. Of course their borscht was delicious. The grilled cheese was also great with extra thick bread slices and a mix of cheese. Their house drinks seem always interesting and refreshing. I had the pear ginger which was perfect. The service was warm, attentive, and very friendly. They have a selection of interesting art for sale on display as well. I will definitely come here every time I visit Grand Forks.

W.O.W! This place is better then any borscht I've ever had. Sorry to my grandmother who almost raised me on it. Worth driving from Vancouver to here just for this place alone! If you are passing through this place should be on the must stop list.

Nice place, but due to pandemic, we were seated outside anyways. Based on the sizes of dishes and ingredients, I would say it is a little bit overpriced. I guess they charge higher price for authentic experience. Overall, the food was good. I have Russian background so I guess I can be quite objective on this matter.

The food here is incredible. This little unassuming place really blew me away. Their Borscht is a must-have and their other menu items which I could not pronounce were just delightful. We tried (almost) everything on the menu and it was all really good. Definitely worth a stop in Grand Forks to have some lunch here.
