The Bar + Kitchen

This place has vibe!! The staff are fabulous, the ambiance is from somewhere else and the cocktails are uptown. Whether sharing the tight space indoors or sitting on the street-side patio The Bar and Kitchen is a must go in Grand Forks. The menu is sheik with a decent offering of modern takes on appies or hand-held mains. The chicken burger is good as is the seeded salad.

Tasteless veggie burger. How is that even possible? Fish tacos were dripping and soggy. Cauliflower kung pao had perhaps 1 tablespoon of sauce. Good fries 🤷‍♂️ A beer and a marg…$85. We should have gone to the other pub.

Great spot to grab dinner! The cauliflower plate was delicious! We also enjoyed wings and truffle fries. Give this place a try!

Worth staying in town another night for!! We initially planned to leave GF on a Wed AM, but after hearing the locals talk about this place (and Grand Forks Beer Co.), we stayed another night to try and it did not disappoint. Ordered the avocado bao buns and cauliflower bites - both were delicious! Service was prompt and friendly (despite every table being full) and it was very enjoyable to be out on the patio. Go early, or expect a bit of a wait as all the tables filled up. But if you have to wait a bit for a table, stick it out - it's worth it! Stay awesome guys!!

Great little hole in the wall bar. Nice food. Menu is a bit small, but very unique, so you could be hunting for a more staple meal if you visit to much. But definitely worth a try
