The Boathouse in Burley

I was driving through Burley, Idaho, and this area has started to become a regular lunch stop for me on trips to Utah and back to Boise. I wanted to start writing reviews of some of the places I find along the way, and The Boathouse was one I tried a couple of months ago. I have been so busy since then that I am only now getting around to writing this review, but it definitely stuck with me as a highlight. I ordered the ahi tuna tacos and they were delicious. The tacos came with pico de gallo, Sriracha Baja cream, and queso fresco, and the flavors worked great together. The atmosphere was also a big win. It is riverfront dining with a nice view, the restaurant was clean, and everyone I dealt with was friendly. It felt like a relaxed spot where you could sit back and enjoy the food and th

Incredible service. Chelsea is a rockstar The food was incredibly yummy. Chicken was perfectly cooked and the steak was actually “medium rare” just like it was supposed to be! Highly recommend this little Gem of a restaurant Wish I had taken a photo of the charcuterie board but nope! Ate it too fast

Two things: First, as a mother I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this changing station in the bathroom. This is a wonderful amenity to offer customers. Second, as a person of color it’s scary to be out right and it’s hard to know where you will be welcomed and where you won’t. But this place had such a kind server who made me feel right at home. I wish I could remember her name but I very much appreciated her service and kindness. Oh and the food was great too!

We stopped on our way to the Gorge and had the best experience, quick service, amazing food, the prime rib was incredible! Our server Celeste was on it from the moment we sat down. I would highly recommend this place, the views on the snake were the icing the the cake! 🍰

We stayed at The Boathouse through Harvest Host camping app, and from the moment we arrived we were greeted with warm and enthusiastic hospitality. Gabrielle had the Beets and Goat Cheese Salad, and I had the Shimp Alfredo and it was perfect. Generous portions, amazing flavors, fresh and well prepared ingredients, and wonderful attentive service. Proprieters, Sabrina and Dean visited with us and we felt like they were opening their home to family.
