The Biryani Corner

Amazing food, friendly staff, beautiful decor. Richmond is a foodie place for new experiences but this, by far, was one of my favorites. The entire waitstaff was amazing, our server walked us through everything. The food was delicious and fun to eat - Aani's Pani Puri Plate, butter chicken curry with garlic naan, lamb biryani. I’m ready to go back! :)

The Biryani Corner did not disappoint! The service was impeccable from start to finish. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor, especially the butter chicken loaded fries, chicken biryani, and Ariana’s kabob which were all absolutely delicious. We asked for extra spicy and they did not disappoint. We also ordered cocktails that paired perfectly with the bold, rich flavors of the food. And whatever you do, don’t leave without trying the chai tres leches for dessert. I’m still thinking about it! A must-visit spot!

I had the butter chicken. It tasted like the chicken thighs were boiled. It was very chewy. He told me the meat was precooked not freshly made. Also the cook wasn't south asian. I feel authentic restaurants would be better. The waiter was great though very nice. Samosa and garlic naan was good aswell.

Biryani has become our go-to place for those nights when we don't feel like cooking. We usually get carry out, partly because we live close by, but mostly because the food is always ready in a jiffy, yet cooked to order, and scrumptious. Plus, the staff are invariably welcoming and friendly. When we eat there in person, the ambience is warm and intimate. We especially enjoy the menu's mix of small plates and full-sized entrees. Either way, the portions are very generous. At home, we always say "cook once, eat twice." With Biryani, its "pay once, eat twice." It's a no-brainer.
