The Bier Garden

This restaurant was recommended to me by a guest where I work. The authentic German food here was incredible. I absolutely loved everything I tried. The German potato salad was delicious. This has become our new restaurant for lunch when headed to the Norfolk airport.

I had such a great experience here that I got take-away the next day! Had lunch here on a Saturday and got the big pretzel appetizer with cold cuts and cheese and it was great! And my server was fantastic and recommended the perfect honeysuckle summer beer to go with it! I was very happy and it's such a fun atmosphere inside and outside with all the draping vines and lights over the outdoor tables. Makes you really feel like you're someplace else! The next day I got currywurst and potato salad and it was also very good, but nothing beats sitting inside.

Super cute and cozy. DELICIOUS food and the BSST GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE I have EVER had. My first visit was yesterday, and I took my husband out today. It was the perfect amount of food and quiet enough on a beautiful March day. If you don’t know what to order. Start with fried mushrooms, the curry bratwurst with a side of ceasar salad and finish with the chocolate cake. Perfect amount.

Up a star for him caring and we shall see if it gets looked in to. :) hi hope it does. I very much used to like this place^ **EDIT** went back again for the maybe 5 or 6 time. Last time and this most recent. Food was horrid. The Sauerbraten was dry, overcooked and tasted of pure vinegar. Nothing else. And I really like vinegar. Then, for some reason, the cook (for sure not a chef) thought it woe to drench the entire plate in the vinegar sauce. The spatzle was sopping wet in vinegar sauce too. The cucumber salad was good, but again, vinegar. Now I know I ordered vinegar with vinegar but drowning a plate in just vinegar said, with zero flavor to it aside form

Our food was amazing and as always we were greeted with smile. Our sever was excellent and answered the every question. The shop in the back has some amazing treats and wears.
