The Bagel Jar: To-Go

Cannot say enough good things about TBJ! They're such a great establishment in our community. The owners do a lot to invest in the neighborhood and the bagels are insanely delicious (coffee too!). I've used them for many events and its always a hit with my clients. Love them!

This is the First Bagel Shop I’ve found in the Buffalo area with Bagels worth eating. I’m not ashamed to admit that I am a bagel snob. Whenever I go downstate I’ll get two dozen bagels to bring home. I freeze them and take them out as needed. Bagels made in Buffalo are generally garbage. But the Bagel Jar had good Bagels! I didn’t even notice this place until I saw it while on a morning run recently. Most all Bagels downstate rate between a 9-10. I’ll give the Bagel Jar an 8.2. Solid Solid score considering I haven’t found a Buffalo area Bagel above a 3. Can’t wait to try a breakfast bagel next time. I walked and ordered 4 Bagels. Was out the door in less than 2 minutes on a very busy Sunday morning. Staff was super friendly too. Well done Bagel Jar!

I was looking for an alternative to a chain version of bagels as it is a tradition in our house to have bagels, lox, cream cheese and green onions as part of our Christmas breakfast. I found this place which I initially had no idea existed until it popped up in my search. I ordered a dozen bagels for first thing pickup on Christmas eve morning. They were ready on the shelf on time. I have to say, this is my new go to for bagels. I ordered an assortment and every one has been amazing. Soft with just right chewiness, they were awesome tasting. Highly recommend!

I’ve delayed reviewing The Bagel Jar: To Go because I didn’t want to contribute to my beloved jalapeño cheddar bagel selling out. But I can’t keep my love for this place to myself any longer! Their specialty coffees are SO good, I am obsessed with the salted maple cold brew and just hope there’s a cold brew variation for the rest of the year. The people working there are always hustling and yet friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Things really are just more expensive these days, but for the quality they are very well-priced. I feel luck to have this right in my neighborhood!

Right now the best bagels in the Western New York area I've tried everything in Buffalo Nothing Compares these are real Bagels. Ever since Manhattan Bagel and bagel Jays left Buffalo I could not find a good bagel till now. I wish they would open one out in Amherst
