Hamburg Public Library

I love the unique architecture of this library, and the fact that it works to incorporate the green space outdoors as well (the Reading Garden). This library is huge, with a vast amount of space upstairs, as well as the circular room on the lower floor. There's a great circular ramp that goes along the exterior wall, right by all the huge windows that look out on greenery. Of course the library is well stocked, with movies, music, and books on so many topics. The librarians, as at all of the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library system, were friendly and welcoming. We've used the community room there for homeschooling events in the past, and it's a great resource.

This library was renovated in 2014. There is ample sitting and tables inside (the building also has AC). There is even a little area outside. The library has a broad amount of books to look through and read. The staff there are nice. The parking is in the back.

Wow! I haven’t been here in ages. I used to come when I was a kid and then I moved out of the area for many years. I stopped in to see if a book I wanted to read was available and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t realize there was a huge addition put onto the back of the building. Also the entrance is on union street and not at the front of the building anymore. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They were happy to answer questions and help me find what I was looking for. This is a good sized library with all kinds of resources and programs for all members of the community. Super cute library with an even cuter Café. They have a nice area with tables if you're going there to do schoolwork. Only downfall is I'm pretty sure this is the loudest library I've ever been in. Hard to concentrate on your work with kids yelling, workers conversing loudly, and patrons having loud conversations as if we're in Tim Hortons. I'll be finding a new place to do my work from now on.
