Sharon"s Lakehouse

Spent six nights and felt so welcome and comfortable. Sharon and Vincent couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. Breakfast is delicious, healthy, and you won't need lunch! Fresh fruit, homemade hash, polish sausage, eggs benedict, danish, waffles! What a feast everyday! The view from our room was incredible. The deck outside our room was lovely and the little patio right on the water was a wonderful escape for reading or just relaxing. Close to downtown Buffalo and easy to get to. If your travel takes you to the Buffalo area treat yourself to a clean and cozy home rather than a hotel.

The location was great. The owners were very helpful. The views are to die for, they have a patio right down by the beach that has tiny Italian lights surrounding it. We spent every night sitting out there. The breakfast that you receive is that of a five star hotel. first class all the way. We will be back.

Sharon and Vince were delightful, deeply committed hosts, with far more energy than we have. We stayed for one night on an idyllic site, right on the banks of Lake Erie, with a view on both Buffalo Harbor and Canada. The house is very well-maintained, but could use a few updates, particularly if staying upstairs. The upstairs bath is shared with the family and the shower has a huge shower-head, but very little pressure if you like a warm shower. Otherwise the stay was nearly perfect. The hosts dining recommendations were right on. Tough place to walk as right on the highway, with a fair amount of road noise. Need to keep the window open in summer with ceiling fan, as not A/C (at least upstairs). Would recommend this stay, but pay the few extra bucks for the larger, more private roo

OK, even though the house is lovely and the view spectacular, the best part are Sharon and Vince who are the best hosts. Warm, hospitable and accommodating it is obvious that they want to make your stay as pleasant as possible, but they aren't at all intrusive. We enjoyed our time with them immensely. Honestly, the breakfast was outstanding with ham, potatoes, and vegetable filled omelet, juice, cinnamon buns and toast and great coffee, and all were the best quality. We really loved our one night stay and plan to return another time.

What a wonderful experience seven nights. The breakfast they serve is delicious, well balanced and creative, and will surely hold 90% of people through out the entire day. The downstairs bedroom on Lake Erie is a memory that will last. Thank you Sharon and Vinnie. You made our stay relaxing and memorable. |They let our grandchildren spend one night in our room with breakfast. A special thank you for this. Just one suggestion - the downstairs bathroom jacuzzi tub could use a plastic bowl to pour water while rinsing because it does not have a shower.
