The Backyard

Fun little spot right off the Doodle Trail. A bunch of great options, including healthy ones! The service was quick and made fresh. I grabbed a peach lemonade and it was delicious!

I went in for a quick stop before going to the park with my toddler. Oh my lord did I miss a good specialty hot dog! Got a German Shepherd and a coke for about 6.50 and no complaints at all! Atmosphere is open and inviting, easy to navigate and sit (which I couldn't lol) First time I went here they had a cute little festival going. It feels and tastes like a lot of effort went into The Backyard and it is much appreciated!

Do you remember the Ice Cream Parlor in Pickens? I know many of you do. This place has the closest chili of any place I've ever tried. The hotdogs are great. They definitely have dressed up ways to make a hotdogs. I got my husband a chicken Caesar wrap, which was also good. The whole business literally is like you are in a friend or family member's backyard. It feels like a get together with the people you like. They have a variety of games and things to do. They had some kind of event going on when we came, so it took about 45 minutes to get our order. I didn't mind because I was enjoying the vibe of the place. My husband was a bit cranky about it though because he was hangry. They even made me a custom cherry vanilla Pepsi or coke. They only thing I think they could possibly change is we

What a great little place! The people were friendly. The food was awesome. The space is so unique and inviting. I definitely plan to make this a stop again when I am back in town.

Such an awesome place to visit! The owners are incredibly kind and genuinely care about their customers. There’s a great selection of rolled ice cream, lemonades, and plenty of other delicious items to choose from. Highly recommend!
