Deal of the day with Carl & amazing internal decorum | mucho memorabilia | I had the seafood and shrimp with imitation crab on Dutch , while Karl got the chicken salad sandwich, we both had 0 complaints.

Oops I couldn't resist. Almost a year has gone by since I've had the oven roasted turkey on Dutch crunch, provolone, and avocado, the BEST sandwich I've had.

Read the good reviews and decided to give this a try. Ordered the the meatball sandwich on Dutch crunch roll. Unfortunately, they microwaved the sandwich, I guess to heat up the meatballs. Well, the Dutch crunch was not crunchy anymore, instead was soft and chewy, totally destroyed the texture and flavors. Very disappointed!

The people were very friendly and were trying to be helpful, but it felt like about half the menu was unavailable for one reason or another. The sandwiches were just okay. Not terrible. Not even bad....just okay. Which seems like a low bar for a place selling t-shirts hyping one of those sandwiches. I didn't hate it, but considering how many options there are in Los Altos "Okay" was a disappointment. Also: this is very much a sandwich shop, not a real deli. Which is (again) okay, but not exciting.

Ordered the chicken salad sandwich, the giant pickle, and the macaroni salad. I thought all were delicious. I got the toasted bread with the crunch top. I ordered delivery so I further toasted it in the over (400 degrees for 10 more minutes) and it was delicious! I like the extra crunch.
