Thai Phanom

My husband and I stopped by on our way up 81 and were so impressed! We ordered the Garden Roll, Red Curry Chicken, and Beef Pho. All of which were AMAZING! The garden roll was a light appetizer and I was pleased with how the rice paper wasn’t gummy. The red curry was a pleasurable spice-level complimented by the sweet, creamy coconut milk within it. I loved it! My husband also thoroughly enjoyed the pho and said that “if I were sick this would make me feel better.” Our server, Ella, did an amazing job. She was friendly and prompt. She provided great service.

Our food was delicious! I ordered the cashew chicken, my husband had the panang curry and we shared some spring rolls. Everything was ready so fast, just the right amount of spicy and our server was fast and friendly

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely worth the drive! My husband and I were visiting Charlottesville and craving Thai food. We came across Thai Phanom online, and the food photos looked so good that we decided to make the drive to Harrisonburg — and I’m so glad we did! I ordered the Crispy Duck Basil, and it was phenomenal. The duck was perfectly cooked — crispy on the outside, tender inside, and full of flavor. The portion was generous and definitely worth the price. Not to mention the Chicken Satay — the chicken was so soft and tender it practically melted in my mouth! The peanut sauce paired with it was delicious too. The staff were friendly, and the restaurant had a cozy, welcoming vibe. If you’re in the area (or even an hour away!), this place is absolutely worth the trip. Highly recommend!

First time here! Food is fresh 😋 and good. We had shrimp pad Thai, chicken pad Thai, and orange chicken. Will definitely be back!

The cashew stir-fry was absolutely delicious. Perfect blend of spices and hearty portions. Service was sharp, and attentive. The restaurant is very cozy with cushioned seats! I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this place before. New favorite for me for sure.
