BMC Bakes

I went for the ube cookies and macarons but ended up getting a variety of things because it all looked so good! My favorite was the apple donut! So soft, moist and hard to tell it was gluten free. I didn't realize they also make coffee drinks like lattes so I'll be back to try those next!

Sarah created the most stunning wedding cake I’ve ever seen. I asked for a design inspired by the night sky with my husband’s and my astrological constellations, and she brought it to life flawlessly. Not only was it beautiful, but it was delicious and gluten-free. She even made a second cake just for our grandfather’s 100th birthday, which we celebrated during the wedding! His favorite dessert is a Boston Creme, and she nailed it in a cake version! Communication was excellent every step of the way, and she truly went above and beyond to make our day so special. Not to mention it's the best gluten-free bakery I've ever been to! We travel a lot, and finding GF bakeries is kind of our thing, and when I tell you she's the best, I can't stress it enough. this is my second year in a row ordering a birthday cake for my bestie and i will continue to do so. last year i special ordered a pineapple upside down cake that was delicious, and this year we got a white chocolate raspberry cake. the cake is so soft and as someone that regularly eats gluten, i wouldn’t be able to tell if i didn’t already know it was GF. the only downside is that the frosting was extremely sweet and we did have to scrape a lot of it off. flavor wise it was very good. i did get a holiday special matcha and unfortunately it didn’t taste like any of the flavors/syrups it was supposed to have, and it was a bit grainy. overall, great cafe with great pastry’s!

BEST BAKERY IN HARRISONBURG. I asked countless bakeries if they could make me a classic caramel cake, which takes a good amount of effort. All of them said no, except for BMC Bakes. Not only was the cake as intricate as I ordered, but it was THE MOST DELICIOUS THING WE HAD EVER PUT IN OUR MOUTHS and the price was super reasonable! GET ALL YOUR CAKES AND DESERTS FROM HERE I AM TELLING YOU IT IS SO WORTH IT!

SUPER CUTE shop and Sarah is a pleasure to work with. We ordered 6 dozen cupcakes to take as gifts/marketing to local businesses and they turned out beautiful (and delicious!) They have so many flavor options and the cupcakes and packaging were very nicely done. We'll definitely be back!
