Thai House Cuisine

Saturday night, not full but busy. Seated quickly and our waitress brought water and took our order right away. My friend and I are hungry so we appreciate how fast everything was. I got and it wasn’t My friend got the dinner special for $5 more which includes an appetizer (spring roll) and small bowl of soup (Tom Kha). Her main dish was pineapple curry with shrimp as the meat. It has a little kick but not intense. There was fresh pineapple and lots of vegetables and really good. My dish (Drunken Noodles) came out within 5 minutes and her rice was or even faster. Then another 5 mins until the rest of hers. Mine was good but a little bland. Really big portion. The dessert Kha Nom Tom is unique and it was sweeter inside but not really sweet. Good to try something new but I wouldn’t get

Took the family here for dinner tonight and had a great time and a great meal. My wife got pad Thai with shrimp, and I got pad Thai with chicken. Our daughters shared a plate of fried rice with chicken and it was all really good. The portions were big and we left with a box of leftovers. The servers were also very nice and friendly.

This use to be our favourite Thai restaurants in town. It’s sad to see this restaurant decline drastically in taste, vibe, and customer service. We went back multiple times even after being disappointed to give them benefit of the doubt, but unfortunately this was our last time there. Every popular restaurants in town on Friday evenings have at least an hour of wait. Here, there were two tables dinning in at 7pm on Friday night when we walked in. While we were dinning, there were two other tables that walked out within few minutes of being there. Anyways, we ordered Satay Chicken (absolutely disgusting - looks like fried chicken), Fried Rice with Tofu (tasteless), Drunken Noodles (okay), and Tom Yum Soup that had decent taste, everything else was disappointing (see the pictures). Went here tonight for dinner. It was delicious. We had the massaman, pumpkin curry, orange chicken and the mango sticky rice. Pumpkin curry was my favorite, but everyone at the table liked all the dishes. Next time I'll get it with a little bit of spice!

Interesting location and old style house. Our server was never around and we were the only people there. Price was fair for what you got.I order the fried rice and the pho my wife order the chefs special. The pho had a solid broth and they provided you with adequate noodles. The fried rice was on the sweet end not my cup of tea. The papaya salad was fresh definitely recommended it was not spicy wish it would of been. The spring rolls were fresh. The chefs special was on the greasier end. I have had better tai food but for the price and food quantity it did the job.
