Teshima's Restaurant

We went here on a whim and it did not disappoint! The food was top tier, Helen was an amazing waitress and took such good care of us. The story behind the restaurant is so amazing! We definitely want to come back for breakfast!

One of the best meals I've had in Hawaii. The ingredients are very high quality and they are done great justice. Great minimalist presentation. Amazing staff and just good vibes. We got the #2 dinner.

My favorite meal on the big island. My husband can’t stop thinking about the beef teriyaki. I loved the seafood trio. Definitely recommend! No wait for us because we went on Super Bowl Sunday.

This restaurant is incredible! First of all, so much history and a great vibe. We knew it had to be good when we saw a line out the door. Even though it was a long line, we didn’t wait that long and it was 100% worth the wait. The service was fantastic. They served us hot green tea with our meals which was delicious. I got the teishoku and every part of the meal was incredible.

Looks like a very old restaurant with clutter everywhere. The server was extremely kind. Food came out plentiful and fast. I recommend the butter fish. Hot tea is free with meal.
