Gypsea Gelato

The best gelato on the big island!! Their flavors are unique. We also tried a slice of flourless chocolate mousse and it was amazing!!

Great gelato. Variety of flavors. This location more convenient than fighting traffic for the downtown Kona location. Service was quick and friendly. At 1PM I was the only customer there. Easy parking. Both indoor and outdoor seating.

Tried the passion fruit flavor and the Mauka Trail — both were delicious and perfectly balanced, not overly sweet! The flavors are rich and refreshing, definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby

Wasn’t really in the mood for gelato, but I’m glad I had some! Super unique flavor…tom kha! Like the soup, but in gelato form! I paired it with their Mauka Trail. I mean who doesn’t love chocolate, coffee and Mac nuts! The female employee was so sweet and the gelato was a treat also!

Their flavors are amazing and unique! They also have coffee and some baked goodies. The atmosphere is inviting and calm. There's activities for kids and adults to enjoy as well, like a color table, corn hole, giant connect 4, and a pirate ship with children's books. It's a great place to study or bring the whole family. They also have pints to take home.
