We’ve done takeout twice now, and both times, the food slapped harder than a piñata at a birthday party. My wife swears by their tacos (and she’s a tough critic—almost as tough as deciding between chips and guac). But me? I’ve got a one-track mind—The Burro De La Casa: Adobado. I am Mexican and I try to find food that’s as closest to the flavors in Mexico. About 7 years ago, Tenoch was my “go to”. I would get the torta campechana consistently and my husband the asada con queso. The last couple of years, their tortas have gotten flatter. Less ingredients and soaking wet from the excess chipotle mayo and chipotle sauce. On top of that, by the time I get home (5 min drive), my food is cold. It’s really sad to see this happen. I hope that the owner reads this and takes into account how they are being represented now.

I went here and ordered the veggie burrito and taco. I could not put the burrito down. It was delicious the whole way through. The ingredients were all very fresh and it tasted very authentic. The only reason I’m giving a 4 is the fact there was a piece of cardboard in my taco. Not sure how that got in there but definitely ruined the whole thing. I would go back though as it must have been a fluke.

We got the adobaba and their different chorizo versions. All were pretty delicious and had good amount of meat. Definitely my go to taco place from now on.

This restaurant is super popular. We went there on a Friday night and it was packed! Always a line waiting for order. The torta was amazing and the price was reasonable. Will definitely come back for more.
