Taylor Community Library

I've always have good to great service and all staff have been very professional, helpful and courteous. I enjoy stopping in occasionally, although I don't get to Lackawanna county , often. I like the baskets they have displayed every year and always buy tickets. One year I won a gift certificate and asked them to please mail it to me, since I was having some issues and was very busy. They sent me the certificate and a nice 💌 letter of explanation. Thank you, all of the ladies who work at this library for providing a positive break in the day. M

Nice little library, but having to find someone and ask every time you want to use the bathroom isn't it. Doesn't make me want to spend very long there.

This is a late review, but still worth mentioning. During last year’s Annual Santa Parade, there was a very tall, heavyset man with brown hair who seemed to be in charge of traffic control for the floats. I witnessed him deliberately disrespect not only the U.S. Marines who were in attendance but also several other people trying to enjoy the event. His attitude was rude, dismissive, and completely out of place for a community celebration. A parade is supposed to bring people together—not be led by someone who treats others with contempt. I hope future events are handled with more professionalism and respect.

This older blond lady was extremely rude when I tried to check out a book. She demanded to know why I thought they would have this particular book on hold to which I replied that I had called before hand and they said they would hold it. When she said the book was no longer on hold I asked if they still had a copy on hand. Ive never had someone so annoyed to do their job. Will not be going back there.

Rude employees and it’s often closed. And if they’re open they will close the kids area and they never announce if the kid areas going to be closed.
