Tavern at White Stag Farm

We happened upon this place driving from Michigan to Minnesota, and I’m so glad we stopped! We sat at the bar and had amazingly friendly service and creative/delicious drinks from the bartender, Victoria. I got the ribeye with sautéed mushrooms and it was easily the best steak I’ve had out in years, shout out to the chef Keyon! I wish I had taken a picture because it was huge, well marbled, and cooked/seasoned to perfection. Highly recommend if you have the time to hang out and enjoy the vibes!

After looking at many restaurant reviews/ratings around this area we decided to come here. It’s was a cozy little joint. The server was very friendly. We started with the ahi tuna and salmon bites- which were both fantastic. We also enjoyed their maple old fashioned- phenomenal! However we ordered dinner, and it took an exuberant amount of time to get our main meals out. Mind you the restaurant when we got there was 80% - but within 30 min of us being there it had cleared out to 3 tables on a Saturday evening. Our food came out over an hour later. We finally got to enjoy the filet and frites, the pork tomahawk, short ribs and the surf and turf burger. It’s was all fantastic! Unfortunately the wait time was not what we had in mind. Fresh, made from scratch food and cocktails. Delicious whitefish! Great service. Buy the staff drinks for $40. I loved this hidden gem. Call ahead for reservations.

Lots of good but kind of an identity crisis of supper club, fine dining, smoking lounge, and coffee shop. Not sure what to make of the couches, pillows, and chairs draped with fake furs. Kind of an Octogenarians with adult children crowd. Which is maybe why some of the food is so salty. The sides and and soup seems the victim while the entrees are solid. Overall pleasant experience. I’d recommend reservations especially for early dining.

Absolutely fabulous! Topnotch service from host, bartender & servers. Shrimp app cooked perfectly & really garlicky. Peach mule was yummy. Cream of potatoes with bacon soup was overflowing with amazing flavor. The steak was ginormous, tender & packed with flavor. Whitefish cooked just right. Surprised us with a chocolate mousse cake & a song for our anniversary. Best dinner in a very long time. If you're in the area, make it a must stop.
