Louie's Bar and Bites

I went to Louie's in June of 2025, looking forward to some really good ribs. Here I am... 63 years old, having been to Jamaica 25 times and love Red Stripe. Asking the bartender (aka the owner) how long the Red Stripe had been in the fridge (just to know if I should make it a bloody beer) ... didn't mean to question the quality of his beer. He refused me service. Come to find out... over this little fopah, if I ever come into his establishment I will be arrested for criminal trespassing. For questioning the quality for his beer! Was in town for a long weekend with friends and we had dinner here every night. The food and service was amazing. Everyone made us feel so welcome. We odered pizza, hamburgers, sandwiches, tacos and soup. All of it was great. Thank you Louie for having a great establishment and customer service. Until we meet again.

I have been here twice and have not been disappointed. It's a fun vibe with stories on the wall, being family owned and operated, you get the feeling of belonging. Now for the food, I love soup, they change weekly, and I have had the Mac and Cheese soup as well as the Lasagna soup, they were both AMAZING. I also went with the chef salad with the parm dressing, complete delight and PLENTY of food in the dish. My hubby had a mushroom and Swiss and he loved it! Highly recommended if you are in the Hayward area.

I've known him for years and the family knows how to run a bar. Great atmosphere, great staff, great food. Nothing has changed from his parents old place and I couldn't be happier about it. If you are near Hayward you have to stop by and enjoy some delicious food. I had the chicken parm sandwich and couldn't recommend it enough.

More of a diner than a bar. Food is very good, at least the cheeseburger and fries I had. No tap beer, but decent selection of bottles and cans.
