Tavern At Bown Crossing

Had an amazing brunch!!! Great service and the food was amazing!!! The chicken biscuits and gravy with a touch of maple syrup -WOW!!! The French toast with assorted berries was superb. If you’re looking for a little lighter meal, my favorite is the blue cheese chicken salad. The balsamic vinaigrette is the best I’ve ever had!

Our experience today at TatBC was absolutely amazing, our Russian visitors were also very pleased with their dishes. The host seated us promptly, our server was very knowledgeable, patient and very kind.(Our visit was on February 15th 2026 1:15pm) I ordered steak and eggs and the chef cooked my steak a perfect rare and my eggs were a beautiful over easy my potatoes were beautifully roasted. My brother-in-law and sister also raved about their Tavern Burger and the house made garlic aioli sauce. Our desserts were beautifully presented and eaten lol. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The food and drinks are underwhelming these days. Definitely a loss of care for quality and cleanliness at this Tavern location. The smell at the bar is unpleasant. We witnessed some very unsanitary behaviors by the servers at the kitchen service window while seated at the bar also. It's obvious that if you're a regular, you are definitely getting treated better at the bar top area. This used to be a local favorite, but quality and service have completely gone downhill. I would avoid the bar seating during happy hour.

Oh heck yeah. This is the spot right here. This place knows how to make some great food. I came here with a few people. We ordered the nachos for the table as well as a calamari appetizer. Both were extremely good, but that calamari appetizer was just about the best thing I tasted here. Very well cooked and excellent flavor. I ordered a salmon roll and it was very good, I couldn’t help but share with the group. I also had an amazing burger (Tavern Burger?) that came with fries. Everything on the plate was delicious, I devoured it all. I recommend the Tavern At Bown Crossing.

I was seated and I ordered a monkey beam, monkey do when the waitress came back with the drink she ran by the lunch special and the soups so fast I couldn’t understand her and then she walked away. I waited for her when she came back and then I had to ask her again what it was, she had said cause I couldn’t understand her. She didn’t tell me about the soups. I ended up ordering the salmon chowder and the vegetable stirfry the food was excellent love the flavors. I had to wait about 20 minutes after I was done eating before the waitress came back and I was able to get my ticket.
