Sal's Howdaj

We brought an Iraqi friend to this food truck, and he confirmed that the food is authentic. It's absolutely delicious, and the falafel and baklava are the best I've ever had. Sal and his son have excellent customer service, and even though the covered patio is next to Glenwood, it's not too noisy for having a conversation while eating. We highly recommend this place.

I was throughly impressed with the food, the service, absolutely everything about this place. I couldn't make my mind up on what to get but Sal Sr. showed me some dishes he was preparing. I ordered the chicken sharwarma plate. It was delicious and flavorful. The portions were big. You definitely get your money's worth. If you're in the area you should stop by. You won't be disappointed.

Such an amazing place. I’ve been looking for a good middle eastern place here in the treasure valley, and this place blows everything out of the water. Sooo good. Such friendly service. The food is so authentic and so filling and tasty. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

The food was amazing, and customer service as well! Loved the hummus. Only staying in the area for a few more days, but definitely eating here at least once more before a leave!

Pretty cool to see a father and son working together making delicious food. Sal jr was incredibly nice and cheerful! Had a smile on his face and was happy to take my order and offer some insights on what was good. Even gave me a free dessert cause it was my 1st time there.
