So amazing! Noodles are insanely silky. The chili oil dumplings were juicy. Very friendly staff as well. Great little spot.

Grew up in China, and I can honestly say this is the most authentic and delicious northern-style noodle place I’ve found in Pittsburgh. Every bowl reminds me of home. The flavors are spot on, the portions are generous, and the prices are very fair. It’s quickly become my favorite Chinese restaurant in the city. The only “problem” is it’s so good that there’s often a wait during meal times — but it’s absolutely worth it. I really hope the owner can move to a bigger space someday, because a restaurant this special truly deserves a long-lasting place here in Pittsburgh.

The hand pulled noodles from here are great! I got the hot oil noodles and removed a bit of spice and it was perfect for me. I loved the bok choy and the ability to add vinegar at the table. I asked them if they had a dish I had tried before. He chatted with me about his hometown’s dishes and was very friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

The noodles were nice and chewy with a good blend of spice and flavor! The portions are great value. The owner is really nice as well.

Grew up in China, have family member grew up in Shanxi, I wouldn’t say this is truely authentic Shanxi noodle. But to be honest, for a person like me who likes noodle a lot, their noodle is really tasteful, and I find it acceptable to taste nonauthentic. Totally recommended! Hope they could have 刀削面 as a choice and have 续面service.
