Taste of the Islands

The chicken patty I ordered was amazing very well seasoned flaky crust tasted amazing. I would definitely go back and get that however, when it comes to the oxtails rice and beans, the oxtails were not fall off the bone. They were very dry and the rice for the rice and peas was very hard and tasteless. The cabbage was flavorful. I go back and give it another. Try to see if I caught them on a bad day.

Food was hot but not good! The Mac n cheese didn’t taste like baked Mac n cheese, and it was very bland! The collard greens no type of seasoning, very bland, and the sweet potatoes were not good omg they didn’t even taste sweet ( I was very upset and disappointed ☹️

Awesome food for good price. Chicken curry. Oxtail, fish. Jerk chicken. You craving Jamaican food go here. Next year for our Holiday party I will be looking to go here for catering order. This is a takeout place so no seating that I know of.

This is the commercial version of Jamaican food. The patties are $3.50 each. The beef pattie was ok. The chicken pattie was terrible. I am not sure that it was chicken. I threw it out. The large stew chicken is $18 is small compared to other Jamaican restaurants. A small cup of mac and cheese is 6. This whole meal was pricey and not worth it! I usually go to One Love, but I tried this place instead because it was closer to my location at the time. I was punished for my lack of dedication.

Food is always delicious it's a little pricey but very good ... MY PROBLEM IS THEY ARE SUPPOELSE TO OPEN AT 11:30 I took my lunch for break and got there at 11:30 and not. Single soul was around inside or out I think if they say they open at a certain time they should be there preparing not falsely claiming times to not be there ! Missed my lunch and everything
