Great food, and great service as well! After a long drive through rainy/snowy weather, i can’t wait to have a warm meal. Host brought our dog water bowl, the server was very patient to answer all the food items on menu. (Helpful for Asians! Don’t afraid to ask) port shank is delicious, so does the onion soup and dessert. We will return for our next Tahoe trip!

Absolutely worth the trip! I traveled all the way from Los Angeles just to experience this gem, and it did not disappoint. I used to live in Tahoe so I have had my fair share of the food and service here. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth, personality, and a dash of humor. Jayme, who is one of the owners is the type of person who makes you feel like you’ve been friends forever. Funny, a bit sarcastic, and refreshingly genuine. The food we had was a masterpiece, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. It’s the kind of food that just melts in your mouth, leaving you craving more with every bite. I’m so stuffed and feel like I can barely move. This place is not stingy with their servings that’s for sure! From dinner to dessert, everything was flawless. Honestly,

A small intimate feeling to the place, friendliest staff I've met in a long time. I ordered the beef stroganoff over spaetzel and had to stop myself from licking the plate. Fragrant, herby, creamy and delicious mushroom gravy atop the very tender and flavorful beef strips, all washed down with a delightful Czech hefewizen beer served very cold with a chilled glass. I haven't eaten the apple strudel I ordered to go yet because I'm too full. Taste of Tahoe is absolutely on my list of places to come back to!

WOW! WOW!! WOW!!! What an incredible restaurant…amazing food, owner and server were wonderful, made you feel like family and the atmosphere takes you right to the heart of a remote European town. We had the beef stroganoff with spaetzel, roasted pork shank with sauerkraut and cabbage and our girls had spaghetti with meat sauce and a meatball. We are going to tell everyone we know and will be coming to Taste of Tahoe every time we come to Tahoe. You truly can’t miss the food, the people and the experience! Hands down, my favorite in Tahoe (and I’ve been coming here multiple times a year for decades).

This place was incredible! The ambiance was very cute and decorated fantastically. The food and drinks were perfect. We had recently taken a trip to Germany and Austria and were looking for this kind of food. It did not disappoint by any means. Felt like we were back in Europe! The jägerschnitzel (mushroom cream sauce on schnitzel) was to die for. The red cabbage was some of the best I’ve ever had. The spätzle was different than we expected, but was REALLY good (might be a Czech version as the owners are from Czech Republic). The goulash was super tasty and we were happy to see that on the menu. Beer and gluhwein went perfectly with the meal. After we didn’t think we could eat any more, our server (the wife of the couple that owns it) told us she made it fresh that day. I couldn’t turn it
