Being a foodie, I like tasting different cuisines.. if your office is next to Lexington Avenue I’m sure you will have a lot of options to taste.. of course I’ve tried many indo-Pakistani Bangladeshi restaurants here, but never tasted Nepalese food .. I was walking by and saw taste from Everest restaurant and wanted to give it a shot… nice location right in the heart of Lexington Avenue.. interior was good lots of tables to sit and eat.. Not much of crowd when I went on a weekday . Service was quick. They had a lot of options, but I chose vegetarian thali. It was about 20$ with tax . It was surely a different cuisine, but to be frank it was too bland and not my style… Italian also does not have a Puri or chapati … they did give a bowl of rice, Dhaal, potato subzi , pappas and sweet . I do
I had the most wholesome and wonderful time at Taste from Everest with my family. I am a regular on UberEats but this was the first time we went in person because we just love the food here. It is a super unassuming restaurant (not too fancy or upscale at all) but has the best few dishes all of which live up to their names. My family isn’t a big fan of overly spiced food and they season their food just right! We were served by Mr. Krishna who was super attentive, friendly, and quick. This place truly is a hidden gem and I would give more stars if I could! They’re also priced so well for a restaurant in Midtown. My personal faves to order: Paneer Tarkari Wai Wai Sadeko Jhol Momos Vegetable Chowmein Himalayan Chicken
This is a great place to have fresh, delicious food! I found this special place waking in the neighborhood. I enjoyed the best samosas and chicken chowmein. The flavor was so different and perfect. Also the portion for the price are amazing. The homemade sauces were the best, so flavorful. The service was also 10/10, Angeli was so polite, professional and attentive. Very welcoming restaurant, the whole experience was a 10/10. I will certainly be back with family and friends.
Absolutely loved the authentic Nepali flavors! The atmosphere was calm and peaceful, and the food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!
Visited this Nepalese restaurant in Manhattan a few months ago with my family, who were visiting from New Jersey. The service was genuinely good and attentive and the food was okay. However, the Jhol chicken momo was a major letdown. The broth was watery and lacked depth and seasoning compared to what we’re used to, which was a bit disappointing.
