Food was excellent. Staff was wonderful. My friends Taco came out cold and they immediately without question got her another one. Restaurant was all ducked out for Christmas and there were animals outside that you could pet. Just an amazing experience!!

We’ve been to Taquerio twice now, and it’s become a go-to spot in Mystic. The food is fantastic — fresh, flavorful tacos (the barbacoa and carnitas are top notch, and the fish tacos are a must), plus nachos that are fully loaded and perfect for sharing. Even the chips and queso were a hit at our table. But what really makes this place stand out is the atmosphere. It’s laid-back, lively, and fun. We came on bingo night, and it was such a great experience — not only for us, but for the kids too. They loved playing bingo, Connect 4, and even the bean bag toss game, which kept them entertained while we enjoyed our food and drinks. We were staying nearby and kept walking past this place. Looks like a former gas station, don't know if it is that or an interesting design choice, regardless, it's a fun place. We arrived 8ish on a Tuesday in late August. Staff were recovering from 2 or 3 large groups. Yet they were still helpful and friendly. The margaritas and cocktails were well mixed and delicious. Tacos were delicious! We had fish tacos, wild mushrooms, po boy, carnitas & all were flavorful and tasty. So glad we stopped by and will again in the future.
