Taqueria Los Primos

Don't let location throw you off - authentic Mexican tacos (onions and cilantro!) at a decent price almost hidden away in a bodega gas station shop! My and my GF both got an order of chicken tacos - which is 4 tacos for $12. You can mix and match for $3.50 each, but 4 tacos of the same meat are $12. There is a large variety of meats and other sides. But the tacos were HEAVEN. We got some guac and chips as a side, but didn't need them! The 4 tacos were enough to feed us. BUT... we ate it anyway. The guac and chips were excellent - bright and fresh guac and fresh, crispy tortilla chips I think that were cooked to order. We loved our chicken tacos, but now I want to try chorizo, beef, carnitas, etc. Can't wait. I don't have any photos because we were starving and we DEVOURED the lunch. I

Great " hole in the wall" eatery. Their Tacos are the closest I've found in Maryland that can stand up to the street tacos served out food trucks in California. They even have a toppings bar where you can get pickled onions and peppers, variety of sauces and chopped onions/cilantro/tomato. All tasty. Their tres leches is good too. I prefer carnitas. I recommend steak over pulled beef because its less fatty, they are fast and friendly. Dont be alarmed they are running out of a gas station, they are clean and always serving consistently quality since they opened. Reasonable prices too. There are tables and seats to eat inside.

This is a hidden gem. You will ne tempted to turn back as you walk into the jenky gas station, past the bongs and energy shots. Keep walking. These tacos are legit! My favorite are the birria tacos. Absolutely to die for. If more people knew what was back here, I'd have to wait in a long line everytime I needed my taco fix... which is becoming more and more regular.

We’ve been here twice in two weeks, and the Tacos Los Primos team has delivered consistent excellence! The tacos are incredible, reasonably priced, and one of the best in the area. The flautas, too, were very good. So crispy, and packed a punch of flavor. Being from California, authentic Mexican food is always hard to find here on the east coast. But I’m pleased with the food here, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal.
