Taqueria Gran Morelos

Straight garbage NO cheese on soupes they are smaller than ever and this is definitely not ground beef!

This taqueria is amazing! When my husband East or here, we share the 4 senior taco and extra beans. It's so delicious, we ALSO get a pound of barbacoa for at home. I seriously can't get enough. Love love love this taqueria.

Went here with my pops recently. It's been more than a decade since I've eaten here. So long that I honestly cant remember the taste, but when I had my burrito, it was like a fond memory. It was so good and I dont think anywhere I've ever been is close to the same flavor. The salsas, though too mild for my taste, were spot on in flavor. In there defense, I didnt ask for hitter salsas and I bet they have them. Additionally, my burrito came with a roasted serrano, so that might beenough, for many people., And with ALL of the renovations they have made to the building, this place is truly a diamond in the rough, in that neighborhood(my childhood neighborhood). I have been ordering super nachos from here for more than 10years and today was the absolute worst everything was in separate containers and only had lettuce and cheese with a small 2oz container of sour cream and I had to ask for beans which normally come with the nachos and they didn’t even put the queso quesadilla that they ALWAYS put on it !!!! I don’t think I will recommend their PLAIN NACHOS Because NOTHING was super about them…. Sad because the price is perfect but quality has definitely went down….

Just fyi, i am not trolling or being negative with ill intent. I’m just beyond disappointed in this place at this point , considering what it used to be back in the day. Ordered a steak burrito with no beans. Had to wait 40mins to be done.. mind you it was called ahead of time… no customers upon arrival. You can taste some beans in the burrito, cheese to meat ratio is crazy. All CHEESE compared to steak(if you wanna call it steak). The meat is SALTY. Not salty to flavor, but salty as if you opened your mouth in the ocean. Cheese not even melted all the way thru, it’s cold. I basically paid $10 of some cold flour and cheese. They need to do better or just close down. A beautiful remodeled restaurant done for what? Food quality doesn’t match up to building appearance bsffr.
