Tango's Empanadas - Boise

Tangos is the place to be! I’ve never had empanadas before but theirs have me hooked, the breading is thick enough to hold in the juice and filling, but not so thick you feel like you’re eating mostly dough. The filling is packed with flavor, my personal favorite is the Tinga. They also have dessert empanadas, delicious. The young man at the register was very kind and patient as we figured out what we wanted, and the staff that came through were kind and smiled at us. Please visit and support their business.

We loved these Empanadas so much yesterday that we had to return to try more flavors. My favorite was the Chimicarne. I highly recommend this shop!

Tango's is a critically acclaimed wonder of culinary delight, and we had to stop in for a snack as we made our way through Boise for the last leg of our road trip. We had heard nothing but good about the food and the service, hailed by many as the best empenadas north of the border. We were not disappointed. Staff were polite and helpful, and the space was small but comfortable. The empenadas themselves were absolutely perfect, in texture, flavor, and consistency. I particulary enjoyed the "Rancho", a bean and pork masterpiece. We savored every single bite, so much so that we had to pick up a a few to take with us before we left. You would be remiss to miss an opportunity to stop by Tango's, should you get a chance!

You will learn very quickly why their food is award winning. The best Cuban Sub I have had in years! Possibly ever. 10/10 Would definitely recommend.

I know they are in the process of moving from this location to down the street. I hope that will be a slightly bigger location as this one was quiet small. However what they packed in seating they more than made up for in the food. Try one of everything. It is that good.
