Really nice new Indian spot in Pittsburgh. They have an option where you can make your own bowl, as well as some classic Indian options. I chose to make my own bowl and selected chicken tikka, brown rice, daal, carrot chilly, and date and tamarind sauce. It was really fresh and tasty. The portion was excellent, not huge, but nice for the price. The vegetables were crisp. The chicken was super well seasoned (a bit spicy) and had a tender texture. Rice was well cooked too. The daal was served in a small separate container, but when mixed with the rice, it made an excellent addition. The date sauce was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy but didn't really fit the dish that well. I also tried a bit of a bowl with falafel, and while the falafel wasn’t anything too special, it was still very s
Just tried Tandoori Pittsburgh and WOW… this spot is a whole vibe! If you love Indian street-food flavors with a modern twist, you need to come here. The Chicken Tikka Naan Taco was the first thing that caught my eye juicy, bold, and wrapped in warm naan. Then the Naan Panini… crispy, cheesy, and honestly addictive. The Paneer Bowl was packed with flavor and felt so fresh, and the Aloo Masala Roll had the perfect mix of spice and comfort. Every single item tasted different, fun, and so well-seasoned. Pittsburgh, you’re lucky to have this spot definitely adding it to my list of must-visit places in the city.
They just opened in July. The taste of the food is authentic Indian food for sure. They have a twist where they offer bowls with rice, curry and salad with chutney. I tries the bowls and the naan tacos and all the variations I had were excellent. I recommend thenplace, good service, quality of food and well worth the cost.
Another Indian take on Chipotle, concept wise good, flavors wise yet to establish. Coming from India, authentic flavors are important that I feel are missing here. However, this place would be good for non Indians for who the taste is different and fast food style.
New restaurant in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh offering amazing Indian bites. Like a Chipotle-style restaurant, you can either take away or dine in. Huge portions and a very clean and inviting atmosphere. Amazing value, as this is probably the most affordable and delicious food in Pittsburgh. The staff was very welcoming, and I will definitely be back!
