Both times I've been here, the food was great. I can highly recommend their goat tikka masala, which comes with rice, a well as their naan. The atmosphere I find a bit tacky with furniture that doesn't really fit the room stylistically in my opinion, and the TVs were distracting, and I don't like the perfume in the air, though I stopped noticing it once I started eating. FYI, the A/C is quite cold, even in winter - but you'll get warm if you choose 3+ for your spice level! I want to come again and try the Punjabi ice cream.
I had never heard of this restaurant until I purchased coupons on PNW Perks. It is a bit out of common travel path, and what a gem to find. The service was wonderful. It seemed to be popular for take out. The food was amazing and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. We had the Lamb Korma, Chicken Vindaloo, Chat Samosa, and Garlic Naan. Spices were perfect, presentation was lovely, the food was delicious! My only complaint was how loud the music was. I felt like I was yelling to speak with the other person in my party.
Got the chicken curry. The curry is thick and you can see the herbs and spices in there. Chicken is tender. Also don’t neglect the garlic naan. The server was attentive but I think she thought I was some famous food critic. I can sense fear as she interacted with me. I did arrive at 5:00 pm before dinner rush. She asked me if I was here for taste testing. lol. No. I was just hungry.
The mango chicken was one of the most bizarre things I’ve ever eaten. American-Chinese style breaded chicken with thick cuts of onion and bell pepper with a thick syrupy mango sauce. I thought I was ordering mango curry?? I must have misread the menu, it’s 100% not curry. The chaat samosas saved the meal however. They were delicious and not many restaurants serve them in this style.
When you walk in it smells like rose water. There are beautiful lights and the place is extremely clean and perfect for a date night. I got the saag paneer with 4 spice level and it was deliciously savory. The server was very on top of everything and was very kind. The music is very nice and I will be coming back.
