Tally Ho Supper Club

Had great old fashioneds at the bar. A phenomenal relish tray with garlic butter buns. Main course was prime rib & ribeye with blue cheese butter. Dessert was courtesy of Venture Wisconsin Supper Club book! This was a fun stop with amazing staff & felt so cozy!

We're new residents of Hayward and this was our first visit to Tally Ho and WOW! We snuck in during shoulder season, so we got a chance to have (owner) Tom to ourselves for a bit to learn about the restaurant, and the time Tom spent with his mom learning her old world Italian recipes that were never written down. Tally Ho itself has a wonderful history, dating back to the 40s, including a bit of Gangster lore. Tally Ho is steeped in Northwoods' tradition, food made with love; a true gem.

Tom greeted us when we walked in. A very knowledgeable owner of the restaurant. Our server Jennifer, was very friendly and knowledgeable. David, the chef, stepped out to make sure everything was prepared to our satisfaction. It was!. The relish tray was a nice addition. We had seafood stuffed mushrooms, which was very good. I ordered the small cut ribeye steak, which was very good, seasoned and medium rare as I ordered. My husband ordered salmon, he really enjoyed it. We look forward to returning! .

Tom, the owner, is awesome. He goes around to everyone to make sure everything is perfect. This was my first time here, New Years Eve, and I will definitely be back. It truly was a wonderful experience. Our server, Jennifer, was also fantastic! She had her hands full that evening but worked hard and also asked if our food was perfect. It is not cheap, but it's worth it.!

Recently, a group of friends and I stopped by thinking Tally Ho was open. Although it wasn’t, Tom graciously opened his doors and welcomed us in anyway. Tom and his family went above and beyond, taking incredible care of us on what should have been their night off. Every course of dinner was outstanding. I would return for the service alone, but the food will absolutely bring me back as well. I can’t say enough about how grateful we all were for such an unforgettable experience.
