Takoda's Restaurant & Lounge

Wasn't great. Ribs okay, pork fries or whatever they called was a joke. Didn't even eat them. Still charged though, although at end they offered to comp them. Point was kinda destroyed at that moment. Anyways not the place everyone says it is. Iam positive better places in town to spend money! I wouldn't give it time of day again.

Great food and drinks. Seemed to be a local place with the lounge being packed and the restaurant being empty. Only one girl working and she had a hard time getting to our table for anything.

Walking in the place felt outdated and run down. But our servers were great, quick to refill our waters, quick to get us our food and check on us. I had something I’ve never had before, monte cristo with sweet potato fries. FANTASTIC. Met and exceeded my expectations. Mini corn dogs and fries from the kid menu was portioned out well in my opinion as well. Other in my group had the country fried steak which was reported as pretty good. And the Sasquatch burger, medium rare, may have been a little too rare.. I would definitely come back as there were other things on the menu that looked appealing, like the focaccia sandwiches. The focaccia is made locally in the town of Sisters!

Food was excellent. Only issue is cost, but we knew Sisters area is expensive. Great wait staff, friendly and quick to offer help, answer questions. Restaurant was a little chilly, but nice.

It was lunch time, and they were really busy. We had to wait a couple minutes to be seated. Once we were seated, we were promptly waited on. Ordering pizza, I thought we would have a wait, but to my surprise it did not take long. Our server was very pleasant and attentive despite the heavy rush. We were very glad we chose Takoda's! My wife, having been a server herself expressed how impressed she was with "Aya", (according to our receipt).
